Stained Glass Mosaic #1 (21.25” x 21.25”/ 53.5 x 53.5cm) (c) 2006-2007 Jean M. Judd/Artists Rights Society (ARS) New York Hand Stitched Thread on Textile This is the first completed textile artwork in my new series, Stained Glass Mosaics. This art quilt incorporates 66 different commercial fabrics, none of them repeated, in this compact quilt. The center of the quilt has a stained-glass effect produced by the bias tape separating each piece of fabric. The quilt is hand quilted in a spiral design starting in each of the four corners and in the center of the quilt.
