About the artwork
In this image there is: Euphoric collapse of boundaries - the body and the background merge, as if the personality has lost its contours, being absorbed by a sensual surge. Sensory oversaturation - the contrast of red and green creates the impression of overheated sensations, color noise, similar to psychedelic visual effects. The paradox of the smile - unlike Munch's scream of fear, here the smile looks like a scream of overloaded joy, where the line between happiness and panic is erased. So, if "The Scream" is an existential anxiety reduced to a scream in the silence of the world, then this picture is a euphoric psychedelic scream, an internal explosion, when the brain turns the world into a carnival of sensations, and the joy becomes so intense that it becomes almost scary.Medium Details

This painting looks like an emotional antithesis to Munch’s “The Scream” – if in Munch the human figure seems to be absorbed by the anxiety of the world, then here consciousness, on the contrary, explodes outward, dissolving in the chaos of color.
In “The Scream” we feel fear, hopelessness, loneliness in front of the cosmic void. Here – bright red and green fields, mixing like streams of uncontrolled emotions. The figure with hypnotic spiral eyes and a smile, as if frozen between joy and madness, refers to a state of artificial euphoria – when psychotropic drugs such as ecstasy do not just change the mood, but rebuild the sense of reality.
