Judd/Artists Rights Society (ARS) New York Hand Stitched Thread on Textile **Available for Purchase** The 6th piece in the Diamond series continues the 60-degree diamonds that were formed from the leftover pieces of binding from eleven (11) artworks completed between 1998 and 2021. Binding is the narrow “framing” done on my textile artworks that is like a narrow frame around a painting. The shape of the artwork itself is also a 60-degree diamond although the two pointed ends have been removed. Two additional fabrics encase the center panel of leftover binding pieces. It creates bold and dynamic display options as shown in the different orientation images. A close-up image of the front of the work shows the shadow play and texture created by the stitching using eleven (11) different thread colors.
