The masses of clouds seem to twist and turn in and around each other – their reflection on the ruffled waters below.
My original idea for the lower part of the painting was a heavier expression of ground acting as an anchor for the piece.
However, when I finished painting, all I could think about was the biblical story of Jesus as he walked on the water and calmed the sea.
The artwork titled itself.
