The Last Angel (39.5” x 26.25”/ 100 x 66cm) (c) 2002-2010 Jean M. Judd/Artists Rights Society (ARS) New York Hand Stitched Thread on Textile This textile artwork has been a long time in the design and construction process. It was started in 2002 and just completed in August of 2010. The art quilt is done entirely by hand. The tan oval is hand appliquéd to the cherub background. The angel form is densely hand quilted and the intricate radiating lines and the abstract swirls in the cherub background are also done entirely by hand.
