Judd/Artists Rights Society (ARS) New York Hand Stitched Thread on Textile **Available for Purchase - $9,750** This is the third piece in the Art Deco series which began in 2009 based on the art deco influence from 1910 to 1939. Commercial and batik fabrics are utilized to create the central art deco design. The design transferred to the edges of the piece from the center design with dense hand stitching imitating the constructed design using nine different thread colors. A visually tactile art work; viewers want to move closer to see all the stitched details and find it hard to resist reaching out to touch and feel it when experiencing the work.
