About the artwork
Abstract Textures 2.1 (37.75” x 43.75”/ 94 x 111cm) (c) 2014-2017 Jean M. Judd/Artists Rights Society (ARS) New York Hand Stitched Thread on Hand Painted Textile Abstract Textures 2.1 continues the undulating spiral and wave forms found in the first four pieces of the series. Yellow, fuchsia, turquoise, and black are the predominant colors until viewed up close, and then you see bits of purple, orange, and green as well. Whole cloth construction with hand brushed dyes created the basis for the artwork. Dense hand stitching created the visual and physical texture that is evident even in the photography. Installation of this piece can be in either a vertical or horizontal orientation which really opens the display options for this work. Merging this artwork with any or all the other pieces in the series creates a very interesting contemporary artwork with infinite unique shape possibilities. **Contact Artist for Relevant shipping charges to Buyer's location**Medium Details
