About the artwork
Songs of the Garden, draws its inspiration from the beautiful botanical gardens in Denver. Nature has always been a consistent inspiration in my work, and this piece is no exception. Reflecting on my many walks through the gardens, I endeavored to capture the vivid colors and exquisite flowers that left a lasting impression on me. The canvas comes alive with a lyrical field of yellow blooms, their graceful movement resembling a musical composition. Taking cues from Rothko's artistry, I introduced sweeping expanses of greens and yellows to infuse a visual harmony into the piece. Employing my distinctive techniques, such as translucent layers, bold spray paint accents, and textured drags, I aimed to evoke both subtlety and dynamism. This painting encapsulates the serene yet vibrant melody found in the heart of nature.Medium Details
