This glorious scarlet sunrise caught me off-guard as I woke one early morning in July looking for coffee.
My heart jumped into my throat and I forgot all about coffee already now wide awake and running to find my camera.
Searching for it was swallowing precious seconds, my smartphone would have to suffice. I must have taken 20 photos before the color that now enveloped the entire sky overhead disappeared.
