It used to be my greatest pleasure in the morning during my studies. Coffee in hand and giant pad of paper on my way to the daily 3 hr long figure study session. I didn’t realise then what an unrepeatable and rare opportunity it was to have a model at my disposal. I’m hoping to get back into painting nudes after many years of other popular themes. This painting is from a photograph, granted, but I’m practicing my hand for future live model sessions!
