I love painting cows...any breed, any season. There is something grounding about cows.These Herefords are at a farm in town....and every spring the proud mama cows show off their beautiful new calves. Magical! I recall selling 4 cow paintings to a NYC stockbroker...I asked him , Why did he buy them ? Turns out, he grew up in the country and when he got stressed out by his high-pressure Wall Street job, he only had to commune with those cows and he was calm again. Of all the compliments I have received over the years, this was one of the most meaningful. Cows are therapeutic!Medium Details
