Stewart Pedersen

Stewart Pedersen focuses his artwork on beauty and the human form. A figure on a canvas will evoke an emotion that can be translated and applied to many different people in different ways. Stewart wishes to use his artwork to encourage personal strength and hope.  Stewart has chosen to follow a different path than many of his artist contemporaries. Without any formal art education he mainly dabbled with painting while learning on his own, working as a home designer and eventually a gallery owner. He began offering drawing classes in his gallery before he finally decided to more fully follow his passion, learning from such artists as Albin Veselka, Trent Gudmundsen, and Joshua LaRock. He now lives in rural Idaho with his wife and fellow artist Jenna, where he spends his days painting and loving his simple life.
