Shannon Hastings is an award-winning plein air painter and wildlife photographer known for capturing the spirit and beauty of Arizona’s landscapes and wildlife. Deeply inspired by the Salt River horses, her work seeks to reveal the grace, strength, and untamed beauty of these wild creatures. Shannon’s paintings are a tribute to the intimate moments she observes, reflecting a profound connection with the wild horses that roam the Salt River and the surrounding desert. Shannon’s art has been featured in juried exhibitions across Arizona, where she has received numerous awards, including Best Nocturne at the APAP Arizona Around the Clock Exhibition and the Heritage Award at the Glendale Folk & Heritage Festival.
