Robert Papp

You may already be familiar with Robert Papp’s art, but may not realize it. His oil paintings are widely known, having been featured on the covers of best seling novels, countless children’s books, in advertising campaigns, and each month on the cover of Cooks Illustrated magazine. Most recently his art was featured in a series of stamps for the United States Postal Service. Born and raised ni New Jersey, Robert attended DuCret School Of Art, learning how to craft a painting, whether it be used as a book cover, or hung as a piece of fine art. After many years of illustrating commercialy, Robert now spends his time at the easel painting at a more leisurely pace, creating expressive figurative works and still lifes. “In my art, it is my goal to communicate familiar things in an exceptional light. To bring awareness to the simple beauty that is al around us.” R-P Robert lives ni historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where subject matter and inspiration is all around him. That inspiration is also shared by Robert’s wife, Lisa, who writes and illustrates books for children.
