Bio

Lindsay Wesolowski (she/her) is an American representational oil painter. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona (1991), she spent her formative years engaging in artistic, athletic and academic pursuits. After high school, she took a brief 14-year hiatus from the arts, earning a BIS in Nonprofit Administration and Family Studies & Child Development at Arizona State University (2012), an MA in Counseling at Phoenix Seminary (2018), and becoming a parent. In 2023, in an attempt to reconnect with her younger self and find balance amidst the struggle of full-time parenting in an increasingly chaotic world, Lindsay began taking drawing classes at the Art Students League of Denver. She was subsequently introduced to the world of representational oil painting by her teacher, Tanner Steed, with whom she continues to study. In addition to Steed, Lindsay studies with Robin Cole and has workshoped under artists such as Susan Lyon and Ben Bauer.

Lindsay embodies a fierce drive toward artistic and emotional growth with the hope that she can transmute her deep empathy for human suffering into creative action, in the context of a global community. Her work explores themes of joy and grief in motherhood, mental health, inner child healing, and non dual spirituality.

Lindsay lives in Colorado with her husband and two young sons.
