Bio

am Davis was born, raised and still resides and works in rural Northeast Georgia.  Growing up in the American South, he looked to the arts as a way to explore the world outside of his everyday life.  Seeing a reproduction of Frederic Remington’s The Scout, Friends or Foes in his third grade social studies textbook lit a fire in him that set him on his life’s path to the fine arts and painted realism in particular. Davis studied and graduated from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia with a BFA in Drawing and Painting.  He has shown work and won awards in shows across America, and had his work featured in several publications.  Three of Adam’s pieces are also included in the Lunar Codex. Currently, Davis is working on drawings and paintings centered around the Southern landscapes he sees on a daily basis, and elevating the South through fine art.  He hopes to create a body of work combining landscape and figurative work that unite his two main artistic muses; capturing naturally lit scenery and the human form.
