Eric Layne

I have been making art since I could hold a crayon, but after high school, creative pursuits took a back seat to college, medical school, and starting a family. When my daughters began to draw and paint as toddlers, it reignited my interest in art and I have spent the last fifteen years studying the craft, visiting galleries and museums, and developing my skills and personal style. I tend to paint nostalgic objects and scenes that offer high contrast in colors, values, and edges. I have been represented by the Hayley Gallery in New Albany, Ohio for the last six years.
