Crea Lynn is a Mixed Media artist living in Santa Fe, NM. She works in the mediums of acrylics, oils, collage, inks, pastels, and pencil. She won an art scholarship offered through the Merrimack Valley Artist’s Association, Lawrence, MA in 1969, and was the youngest member to join the Merrimack Valley Artist Association and the Newburyport Art Association, Newburyport, MA. She has sold over 20 paintings to private collectors and participated in several exhibitions.
In 1985 Crea moved to Cape Cod and began designing and making hand crafted jewelry using semi-precious stones and beadwork. For five years she sold her work at the Brewster Museum of Natural History, retail stores, and private collectors on Cape Cod and throughout New England until she relocated to Santa Fe, NM in October,1990.
From 1991 to 1997 Crea traveled the world extensively, visiting over 20 countries as she felt it was important to learn about other cultures and customs as a way to enrich her life as an artist. World travel is reflected in her artwork, especially leaning toward Asian and South Western themes.
