Blair Atherholt

Blair Atherholt is an award-winning contemporary realist oil painter whose creative focus and interest primarily lie in the Still Life genre. His love for painting is inspired and informed by his atelier-style training, received during his completion of the four-year graduate program at the Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore, MD. Atherholt is a Signature member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA) and a Master Artist member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS). He has been honored to receive numerous awards in both organizations’ national exhibitions. Most recently, Atherholt was awarded the Gold Medal in the OPA’s 2024 National Juried Salon and 2nd Place in the NOAPS 2024 Best of America Small Works Exhibition. With each well-measured brushstroke, Atherholt strives to capture the subject matter of traditional Still Life through a fresh and contemporary lens. He currently lives and maintains a studio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
