paints the human spirit in life’s situations, the joys, sorrows and spirituality.
Belita
uses the training and skills of classical painting, which includes beauty, composition, and technical abilities in the use of oil paints to create her paintings. She would like the observer to become a “participant” and to become emotionally involved with what ever she has painted. Belita has participated in art competitions as well as exhibited works in various shows.

received training at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and Pasadena, CA. Finalist (multiple times) in several International Competitions, among them ARC Salon 2012 and semi finalist 2023, 2nd place winner of The National Catholic Arts Competition Latrobe, PA, The Sacred Prize Competition 3 years in a row. Finalist in the Eucharistic Revival Sacred Art Competition New Haven, CT, and a finalist in the
Laudemus
Christian Art competition 2024, top 10 Finalist out of 1200 entries from 48 Countries. At age 11, was considered a child prodigy and under the mentorship of Moe Howard of The Three Stooges. At age 22, while living in Saudi Arabia, was commissioned to do a portrait of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al
