Andrea Tedesco

Growing up in upstate New York, I always enjoyed art in school and drawing became a favorite past time. In college, I considered an education in Medical Illustration but decided on a more ‘practical’ degree in Computer Science. I continued to keep art on the side and occasionally took community college classes in drawing and design once my husband and I moved to the Phoenix, Arizona area. When our children were grown and I cut back on the hours I worked, I began taking classes at Scottsdale Artist’s School and spent a year learning with artist Tim Rees. When Tim moved away from the Phoenix area, I took a break and once online learning became available I was fortunate to begin studying with Jeff Hein. His instruction and three years of consistent work has been instrumental in building my skills. Learning will never end as I continue to strive to improve.
