Julian Bradshaw is a Vermont artist and educator who draws inspiration from her childhood experiences of living and traveling in Europe. Her oil paintings capture her love of the ocean, old architecture, travel, and history. Through plein air studies, historical research, and personal reflections, Julian’s current body of work, Echoes of Memories, merges the past with the present. Her paintings evoke a sense of timelessness, where scenes could belong to yesterday or a century ago. Though recently retired from teaching secondary art, Julian continues to share her passion for art education at the University of Vermont and has begun painting full-time in her studio in Essex, Vermont.
