Deb Piecora

Deb Piecora is a Pacific Northwest artist specializing in oil and watercolor painting. She discovered her passion for art at a young age, and encouraged by her parents, she pursued art training, including watercolor and drawing classes. At 16, her family moved to Europe, where she spent a year studying in Barcelona, deepening her appreciation for art and architecture. After returning to the U.S., Deb attended the Burnley School of Art in Seattle and launched a graphic design firm that earned multiple awards for design and illustration. In 1983, Deb shifted her focus to raising her family. Now retired with four children and six grandchildren, she returned to painting full-time in 2022. Her preferred method is “alla prima” – painting directly from life in one sitting, capturing bold strokes and fleeting moments to preserve life’s beauty in her work.
