Originally from Wisconsin, Meg moved to Arizona in 2018 where she works as an artist and graphic designer. She’s been drawing and creating art her whole life, majoring in both studio art and graphic design in college.
Her first entry with the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), Moe’s Christmas, won the Derwent Award for Exceptional Merit and was displayed in their online show in July of 2021. Since then, she’s had pieces accepted into CPSA’s International Exhibition and Explore This! shows each year. She’s won several additional awards since then and has had acceptances into the Camelback Gallery in Phoenix, AZ, Colored Pencil Magazine’s online competition, and the International Guild of Realism (IGOR). Her work has been displayed in the Dunedin Fine Art Gallery in Dunedin, FL; the Ormond Memorial Gardens and Art Museum in Ormond Beach, FL; the Summit Hotel Gallery in Cincinnati, OH; and several galleries around Tucson and Phoenix, AZ.
In 2023, Meg created the colored pencil tutorial “Wild at Heart” for www.annkullberg.com and was featured in Ann Kullberg’s Color magazine a few months later. Her work also appeared in Colored Pencil Magazine’s 2023 Art Competition in December of 2023.
