About the artwork

Scribble #2: Black Pathways (22” x 15.25”/ 56 x 38cm) (c) 2009 Jean M. Judd/Artists Rights Society (ARS) New York Hand Stitched Thread on Textile This art quilt is the second in the abstract series, Scribble. It is based on a drawing technique from my childhood utilizing crayons and a piece of paper. Commercial fabrics are used to construct this textile artwork. Hand appliquéd handmade bias tape is utilized to create the design. The dense hand quilting gives the contemporary artwork visual texture and encourages the viewer want to reach out and touch the piece. The piece is designed to be displayed in any orientation changing the look of the design dramatically. **Contact Artist for relevant shipping charges to Buyer's location.**
