I was born and raised in Colorado, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 43 years who is also an artist, oil painter, Don Hamilton, we have raised 3 sons, we have 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Don and I did art festivals in Arizona and Florida for several years, we moved to Tucson from Castle Rock Colorado in 2018 where we now spend our time visiting art galleries, being outdoors, playing pickleball, exploring Arizona and working in our studios.
I paint in many different styles and mediums but enjoy primarily abstract expressionism, I express in color and texture.
I apply multimedia intuitively, layer upon layer, color and texture until arriving to a desirable result mimicking rust, mineral buildup and patinas, all of the wonderful elements that build up over time naturally in the outdoors on metal and stone.
